You can now update to bleep!Synth 1.0.2 which fixes incompatibilities with iOS 4.0.
An update to fix iOS 4.0 compatibility has been submitted to the App Store for approval.
We are wrapping up an update on bleep!Synth that adds compatibility with iOS 4.0. We just have one more issue to fix then we will submit it for approval.
There’s a new infusion of bleep!Synth users today due to the sale we’ve been running. Just so you folks know, there are some updates coming to bleep!Synth soon. For one, I will be adding a ‘hold’ button so that sequences can continue to play even when you are not on the play screen. This has probably been the biggest suggestion from users. Second, I will be adding some additional things you can tweak for live play which should be pretty cool (details soon). Third, I will be adding copy and paste support so you can bring your sequences into Beatmaker and hopefully other apps. And fourth, we will be turning bleep!Synth into a universal app so that it can be run full res on the iPad (with a nice big ‘play’ surface that’s always available). You won’t have to buy bleep!Synth again on the iPad like other devs make you do. I can’t give a date yet on when you’ll see these features, but work on bleep!BOX is finishing up for this round I will be switching over to bleep!Synth shortly after. I may do a phased approach – the first 3 items first and iPad support after.
bleep!Synth is on sale for today and tomorrow as a thanks to our friends at PalmSounds. Pick it up super cheap!
Friday’s sale went very well – thanks to everyone who tweeted, posted and purchased.
This Friday we will be lowering the price on bleep!BOX and bleep!Synth to $4.99 and $3.99 respectively, for a one day promotion. It’s a great chance to pick up some excellent music apps at a lower price. Be sure to tell your friends!
We added a sample of a few of the presets available in bleep!Synth. Hear it on the Samples page. Also featured on our Sound Cloud group.
Tip #1: You can tilt the device for Modwheel or Pitchbend type effects. The tilt can be assigned to pitch or filter, and can be an LFO type modulation or just a regular modulation. You can assign this on the Mod tab in the Edit page. You can also set which axis bleep!Synth is using on the Global page. Many patches already have Tilt assigned to something. Try shaking while you play to see what they do!
